Marketing Photo Shoot
We chose September to launch Dress In A Box, as this would mark a year from when we decided to undergo this beautiful adventure, it also provided us heaps of time to have a lengthy pre-marketing campaign. I am glad we took our time as we have had a blast!
First stop, we needed a epic, dramatic and stunning photo shoot! Living in the Sunshine Coast Hinterlands meant that we was not short of wedding venues and we was lucky enough to have access to two beautiful locations, Maleny Manor and Bridle Guest House. Both venues need no introduction, fantastic vibes, amazing views and supportive staff. We are extremely thankful to be able to enjoy the day with you both.
Maleny Manor gave us a stunning backdrop, having our wedding dress frames in their chapel was just poetic, for the brides that have already gotten married there and thousands more booked in to be, this venue symbolized romance and memories. Which was the perfect vibe for our new brand and the message we are trying to create.
When you strip away the romance we needed practical perfection, Bridle Guest House offered us just this with the Montana Suite. Here we was able to take advantage of the luxurious and elegant decor to give potential buyers an idea of what our wedding dress frames would look like in a home environment. The homestead oozes class and we very easily got carried away with a few creative snaps too. These two venues gave us more than we could could have imagined and the photos speak for themselves.
We had picked the venues just right but now our wedding dress frames needed that last detail which would make our photo shoot an absolute success! The dresses, of course we didn't need to look no further than the sunshine coast's main bridal shop, Luv Bridal. I had my own wedding dress made for me as we live in the middle of no-where and not a bridal shop in site, so to walk in to Luv Bridal to pick out two gowns for our photo shoot, was heaven!! I had my 'say yes to the dress' moment and the best part was I could pick any two dresses in the store! The first dress pictured in The Classic, was the Riva, a stunning gown that was a show stopper, bling and lace and fit like a glove in our frame. I had trouble choosing the second dress, with so many beautiful gowns on offer I needed a professionals help to select a dreamy, fuller tulle dress for our larger frame The Vintage.
